We want your Kindred Fine jewelry to arrive safely and bring you joy from the moment you open the box. Here's everything you need to know about how we ship and what happens if something isn't quite right.
Shipping
Domestic Shipping (United States)
We ship all domestic orders via FedEx or UPS, fully insured and with tracking from the moment your package leaves our studio in Brooklyn.
Signature required on all orders over $500. Please ensure someone is available to sign at your delivery address, or consider shipping to a work address.
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
Same-day messenger delivery within Brooklyn and Manhattan may be available upon request — please contact us at hello@kindredfine.com.
Processing Time
Orders for in-stock items are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days of purchase, Monday through Friday (excluding federal holidays).
Made-to-order and custom pieces require additional production time. Please allow 2-3 weeks from the order date before your piece ships. Individual product pages will always note if an item is made to order. We'll send you a shipping confirmation with tracking as soon as your order is on its way.
During peak periods (holidays, new collection launches), processing times may be slightly longer. We'll always keep you informed.
International Shipping
We ship worldwide! International orders are shipped via FedEx or DHL, fully insured and tracked.
Please note: Customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. These charges are not included in your order total and are collected by the carrier or customs authority at delivery. We are not able to predict these costs — we recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an order.
International delivery typically takes 7–14 business days after shipping, though times may vary by destination and local customs processes. International orders are final sale — see our Returns policy below for details.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.
Returns & Exchanges
We hope you love everything you receive from Kindred Fine. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.
Return Window
We accept returns on eligible items within 7 days of the delivery date.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
Unworn and unaltered — no scratches, marks, or signs of wear
In its original packaging, with all tags, pouches, and documentation included
Accompanied by your original order confirmation or packing slip
We inspect all returned items upon receipt. Items that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted for return and will be sent back to you.
Final Sale Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
Custom or personalized pieces (including any engraved items)
Made-to-order pieces — once production has begun
Items marked "Final Sale" at the time of purchase
Items purchased with a promotional discount code or during a sale event
International orders
How to Initiate a Return
1. Email us at hello@kindredfine.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and the reason for your return.
2. We'll review your request and, if approved, provide you with return instructions.
3. Please ship your return using a trackable, insured shipping service. Original shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was received damaged or incorrect.
4. Ship to: Kindred Fine, Brooklyn, NY. We'll share the address in the email.
We are not responsible for packages lost or damaged in return transit. We strongly recommend insuring your return shipment for the full value of the item.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you by email. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-7 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional few days to appear on your statement. Original shipping
charges are non-refundable.
As an alternative to a refund, we're happy to issue you a Kindred Fine store credit that never expires.
Exchanges
We gladly accept exchanges for a different size or a different in-stock style within 7 days of delivery. To request an exchange, please follow the same steps as initiating a return and note your preferred exchange item. Exchanges are subject to availability.
Repairs & Warranty
We stand behind the quality of every piece we make. All Kindred Fine jewelry comes with a 6-month craftsmanship warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
Our warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Accidental damage (bending, breakage, chips)
Damage resulting from improper care (exposure to chemicals, heat, moisture, impact)
Lost charms or stones
If you believe your piece has a manufacturing defect, please contact us at hello@kindredfine.com with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We'll do our best to make it right.
For repairs outside the warranty period, we offer repair services for a fee. Please contact us for a quote. Repair turnaround times typically range from 3-6 weeks depending on the scope of work.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or you've received the wrong item, please contact us at hello@kindredfine.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos. We'll resolve it promptly at no cost to you.
